55 Mile Trail Race
May 2024 I completed the Ram Party 55 miler! Right now it's by far the most mileage I've ever done in a day and I'm so stoked to have completed it. It was about 6500 feet of vert, I completed it in 11 hours 30 minutes and somehow managed to place 8th. Overall an awesome experience and something I want to do again!
Dragon's Tail Couloir
A true classic Colorado ski line, Dragon's Tail Couloir was an awesome day out on skis. Right in Rocky Mountain National Park, we had great views the whole time and even caught some powder on the way down.
Half Dome Summit
Another bucket list item right here. This one came together really last minute and I was lucky enough to be able to share the summit with about 20 of my coworkers. We summitted around 3am and stayed up there until a little after sunrise. A super special experience and one I will never forget.
Skinner Hut Trip
One of my favorite ski trips ever! It was a heinous 12 mile approach to get to the hut but there were great views the whole time. We also had a great crew to get there and the hut itself is amazing and super cozy. We even got 6 fresh inches overnight and were able to get a large handful of powder turns on the way down!
3rd Flatiron Ascent
This one was put on my bucket list as soon as I arrived to Boulder. I summitted with a close friend and was lucky enough to have another great friend at the top of the 2nd flatiron to get this awesome photo. One of my favorite days of climbing ever.
Long's Peak Ski Descent
What a heinous day this was. The approach was an absolute slog and by the time we made it to the base of Kepplinger's Couloir (which is the popular ski descent/ascent route) we were gassed. We got super lucky on the weather though and were able to have a blue-bird day. It was pretty awesome to be skiing at 14 thousand feet. Heinous day but well worth the effort.
Mt. Whitney Summit
Looked at Whitney permits on a whim one day and saw that there was two available for the next day. Not sure how I got so lucky but I bought the permits right away and started asking all of my friends if they would join. We ended up going up with a guitar and played it at the top which was surreal. Such a great day.
Terminal Cancer Couloir
A dream come true to be able to ski one of North America's 50 classic ski lines. We made this stop in Nevada on our way out to Tahoe and it was a real treat. The Ruby Mountains are gorgeous and we got great conditions in the couloir. An amazing side mission with an amazing group.
